About John E. Montgomery,
Eureka Family Counselling's Founder
John E. Montgomery was raised in the west end of Hamilton, Ontario, the oldest of three sons. John has three children, two daughters and a son, and is married to Adèle. He has a BA in sociology from McMaster University, a Master of Divinity from the University of Toronto and a Master of Theological Studies in counseling from Wilfrid Laurier University.
John has received his training and education in pastoral care in such places as Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto. As a chaplain John would spend time with families when their loved ones were dying. He wanted to be able to help them with their inner and personal struggles so he furthered his training as a Marriage and Family Therapist at agencies in Cambridge and London.
John's hobbies and interests are golfing in good weather, native and heritage gardening, and social justice for refugees. His interest in spirituality and the environment takes him on speaking engagements around Ontario.
